Whytheat A is a refractory castable with a 60% alumina content. It can be used for service temperatures of up to 1600°C. Whytheat K is a premixed refractory composition that can be cast into any required shape and size. It has a low iron content and can resist carbon monoxide attack. It is also a medium purity dense castable with excellent stackability. Whytheat A is a cost-effective solution for the smallest ladles and less critical patching. It can be used in blast furnaces and non-ferrous metal industries. Whytheat K is available in powdered form and is packed in 25kg or 50kg bags. It is a premium grade product with a muddy color.
