A ceramic fiber blanket is a high-temperature-resistant, lightweight, and flexible insulation material made from spun or blown ceramic fibers, often from alumina and silica oxides. Produced by interlocking fibers to form a dense, strong, yet durable blanket, it provides excellent thermal insulation and shock resistance at very high temperatures (up to 1600°C or 2912°F), making it ideal for furnace linings, kilns, and other thermal applications where high performance is critical.
